Broward Schools – Intellectual Disabilities Center – Bright Horizons

The school is designed to provide intensive supportive education for ESE students because their current school setting does not appear to meet their needs. Bright Horizons is part of the continuum of services required by the IDEA law in order to protect the right to a free and appropriate education for all children. The mission is to provide an environment where all children can realize their highest potential through a joint commitment of home, school, and community. Aftercare program available for students.

ELIGIBILITY K-12 School, to age 22 if on Special Diploma. Developmental disability, intellectual disability.  Must be student for aftercare.

INTAKE: Referred by ESE Specialist; Documentation/ IEP must indicate that a greater level of support is needed
